First phase of the agreement will see the Akila platform deployed at six campuses across three countries in Asia Pacific.
Education in Motion (EIM), the international education group behind Dulwich College International, Dehong International Chinese Schools, Green School, Sherfield School and Hochalpines Institut Ftan, has expanded its partnership with Akila to deploy AI across the operation of its campus real estate portfolio. Under the first phase of the agreement, the Akila platform will be rolled out at six campuses in three countries across Asia Pacific, with further sites to follow in subsequent phases.
The partnership extends a collaboration that began at Dulwich College Suzhou, where Akila has already been deployed across a multi-building campus. Applications there include a full campus digital twin, energy and utilities optimization, predictive maintenance, indoor environmental quality monitoring and integration into facilities management operations, with new capabilities continuing to be rolled out in 2026.
Akila creates and maintains sovereign, AI-ready models of the built world, making it readable to intelligence. For EIM, each campus becomes a single connected model linking its spaces, assets, building systems, documents and operational data, so that people and AI can see what exists, what is happening and what should happen next. The platform makes this readable from campus level down to individual items of equipment, also aggregating upwards to create portfolio-wide intelligence. This will give EIM a resilient data foundation on which further AI applications can be scaled.
The programme establishes shared infrastructure for the management of its property portfolio, supporting sustainability performance, operational efficiency and capital decision-making across the group as it continues to invest in new campuses.
